Job Responsibilities

• Provide solo emergency room coverage in 12-hour shifts
• Handle an average daily patient volume of 90-100, with a typical shift seeing 18-20 patients
• Utilize Meditech 6.1 EMR system effectively
• Collaborate with mid-level practitioners and utilize support services with 24-hour availability for anesthesia, general surgery, orthopedic surgery, and radiology

Qualifications

• Must be NC Medicaid credentialed and enrolled in PECOS
• Board Certification required
• Fellowship experience preferred

Working Hours

• 12-hour shifts, either from 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM

Skills

• Strong ability to manage emergency and trauma cases efficiently
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficient in utilizing EMR systems, specifically Meditech 6.1
