Job Responsibilities
- Ensure safe and efficient distribution of pharmaceutical agents
- Collaborate with physicians on drug dosing
- Educate nursing staff, patients, and physicians regarding medications
- Lead medication safety initiatives
- Maintain and update patient profiles
- Monitor and report adverse drug reactions
- Handle IV admixtures, nutritional supplements, and narcotic accountability
Qualifications
- Active AZ Pharmacist License
- ACLS & BLS certifications
- Inpatient acute hospital experience required
- 2 years of experience preferred
- Board certification and/or accredited pharmacy residency preferred
Working Hours
- 8:00 PM – 7:00 AM, 7 nights on / 7 nights off (Wednesday to Tuesday)
