Job Responsibilities

  • Work as the sole pharmacist in the acute care "drug room" setting.
  • Collaborate with a pharmacy technician and a pharmacy informatics RN to manage pharmaceutical services.
  • Perform PIC duties as necessary, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Manage 340B contract pharmacy operations, if applicable.

Qualifications

  • Must be a licensed pharmacist in Oregon.
  • Previous hospital retail experience preferred but not required.
  • Experience with 340B contract pharmacy operations is beneficial.

Working Hours

  • Monday to Friday
  • Option for varied hours including 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM or 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM

Skills

  • Strong understanding of pharmaceutical regulations and standards.
  • Ability to work independently as the sole pharmacist.
  • Proficient in using the Cerner charting system.
  • Strong communication skills for collaboration with healthcare professionals and patients.
