Job Responsibilities
- Perform medication order verification and entry.
- Supervise technical support personnel in drug preparation and distribution systems.
- Conduct final dispensing checks and complete required documentation.
- Review and monitor override reports and other necessary reports.
Qualifications
- Active Pharmacist license with the Texas State Board of Pharmacy.
- Minimum of 2 years of prior hospital experience.
- Completion of a 20-hour ACPE-accredited sterile compounding course.
- Experience with Meditech preferred.
- Experience with decentralized pharmacy systems, including vancomycin and renal dosing adjustments.
