You will play a key role in providing personalized healthcare services, managing retail pharmaceutical services including procurement, distribution, storage, and administration of medications. Job Responsibilities
– Compound and dispense prescribed medications and other pharmaceuticals for patient care.
– Review prescriptions to ensure accuracy and determine necessary formulas and ingredients.
– Provide information to customers on drug interactions, side effects, dosages, and storage.
– Manage pharmacy inventory, files, and charge systems.
– Maintain procedures concerning quality assurance, security of controlled substances, and disposal of hazardous waste drugs.
– Collaborate with healthcare professionals to better assist customers.
– Resolve prescription errors promptly and maintain confidentiality.
– Engage in continuing education to remain knowledgeable about pharmacy-related programs and regulations.

Qualifications
– Licensed to practice pharmacy in California.
– Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmacy or Pharm.D. from an accredited college.
– Current BLS Certification.
– Knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations governing retail pharmaceutical services.
– Excellent interpersonal, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Working Hours
– Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
– Flexibility to work beyond normal hours if necessary.
