Job Responsibilities

• Provide 24-hour on-call coverage for the NICU
• Round once daily in the NICU
• Handle calls from nursing staff regarding patient conditions as needed
• Execute procedures such as ventilatory assistance, nasal CPAP, surfactant administration, and others as required

Qualifications

• Board Certified or Eligible in Neonatal/Perinatal Medicine
• Must have a current state license
• Certifications: BLS, NRP, DEA required during credentialing
• Must be a listed paneled member of California Children Services (CCS)
• Clean malpractice history
• Requires substantial recent experience covering neonatology services

Working Hours

• January 11-20 (ending 21st am) of every month
• 24-hour on-call coverage including orientation business day prior to shift
