Job Responsibilities

• Oversee inpatient pharmacy operations, including the IV room and sterile compounding.
• Check medication orders and manage stock for automated dispensing machines.
• Engage in non-sterile and sterile compounding, including hazardous drugs.
• Supervise pharmacy technicians and coordinate with other pharmacists.

Qualifications

• WV Pharmacist License and BLS certification required.
• Preferred but not required: 3 years of pharmacy experience.

Working Hours

• Day Shift: Monday to Friday, with flexibility in choosing 8-hour, 10-hour, or 12-hour shifts.

Skills

• Proficiency with EPIC EMR and pharmacy management systems like Omnicell.
• Excellent phone etiquette and basic computer skills.
• Strong knowledge in medication compatibility and compounding.
