Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:30 PM; Every other weekend and holiday
Patient Population: Adult
Location: Richmond, VA

Job Responsibilities
– Maintain an adequate drug supply, process orders timely, and ensure compliance with federal and state pharmacy laws.
– Prepare, fill, and dispense medications accurately, including emergency and parenteral solutions.
– Conduct monthly inspections of care units, ensuring proper documentation and control of substances.
– Participate in quality assurance and patient drug therapy monitoring.
– Develop and facilitate training and educational programs for pharmacy staff and healthcare professionals.
– Maintain comprehensive records for pharmacy transactions, patient charges, and drug usage reviews.


Qualifications
– Successful completion of educational requirements for state licensure
– Current State licensure required
– BLS certification if required by state
– EPIC experience
– Minimum of two years of recent hospital experience


Working Hours
– Monday to Friday
– 8:00 AM – 5:30 PM
– Every other weekend and holiday


Skills
– Strong communication skills for admission and discharge processes
– Clinical knowledge in antimicrobial stewardship and pharmacokinetic dosing management
– Expertise in EPIC systems
– Ability to monitor, manage, and recommend dosing for anticoagulation
