Job Description

We are seeking a Board Certified Cardiologist to provide part-time consultation services in Brooklyn, New York. This opportunity offers a flexible schedule with consistent clinic hours, focusing on cardiovascular medicine consultations for adult patients.

Key Details

  • Pay Rate: Competitive hourly rate
  • Location: Brooklyn, New York
  • Schedule: 16 hours per month (4 hours per week)
  • Clinic Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM (excluding holidays)
  • Travel stipends can be discussed directly with the facility for non-local candidates
  • Schedule to be mutually agreed upon between provider and facility

Job Responsibilities

  • Provide cardiovascular consultation services to adult in-patients
  • Evaluate, diagnose, and recommend treatment for conditions related to the heart, lungs, and blood vessels
  • Interpret EKGs and provide clear, concise consultation reports per CMS standards
  • Collaborate with Kingsboro PC prescribers and clinic personnel
  • Participate in required trainings and maintain compliance with federal and state regulations

Qualifications

  • MD or DO degree from an accredited program
  • Board Certified in Cardiology by the American Board of Internal Medicine (or subspecialty such as Cardiovascular Disease or Interventional Cardiology)
  • Active or eligible New York medical license
  • English proficiency; bilingual (English & Spanish) preferred

Working Hours

  • 16 hours per month (4 hours per week)
  • Weekdays only, between 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
  • Flexible scheduling to be determined with facility
