We are seeking an experienced CRNA for an exciting locum tenens opportunity in Memphis, Tennessee. This role offers the chance to join a dedicated pediatric anesthesia team at a Level I Pediatric Trauma Center, working alongside skilled physicians and CRNAs in a high-acuity environment.
Key Details
- Location: Memphis, Tennessee
- Position: CRNA – Pediatric Anesthesia (Locum Tenens)
- Schedule: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM; no call required
- Shift Length: 8 or 10 hours (based on preference and scheduling needs)
- Compensation: $250 per hour
- Start Date: November 4, 2024
- End Date: June 30, 2026
- Travel/Lodging: Paid (air, hotel, mileage, car rental)

Job Responsibilities
Provide anesthesia coverage across 20 operating rooms, with a medical direction model of 1:2
Deliver safe, effective anesthesia care for a wide range of pediatric patients, including neonates, healthy children, and critically ill patients
Perform regional and general anesthesia techniques appropriate for pediatric care
Document care accurately in Epic EMR
Qualifications
Board Certified CRNA
Active Tennessee license (or ability to obtain)
Minimum of 12 months of case logs, including at least 50 pediatric cases
Comfortable managing neonates and critically ill pediatric patients
Pediatric anesthesia experience required
Working Hours
Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
No evening or weekend call required
Skills
Pediatric anesthesia proficiency (neonates, infants, children)
Ability to manage high-acuity patients in a trauma setting
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Familiarity with Epic EMR
