You will provide essential healthcare services focusing on emergent obstetric care, including vaginal deliveries and C-sections. This role requires a commitment to 24-hour on-call shifts with the opportunity to be part of the only maternity transport team in Iowa.

Job Responsibilities

• Manage OBED patients including emergent cases, vaginal deliveries, and C-sections
• Provide care for patients without a primary OB/GYN
• Participate in the maternity transport team

Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible
• Active IA license or Active Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC)
• Clean malpractice and background history

Working Hours

• 24-hour on-call shifts
• Physicians cannot work more than two 24-hour shifts consecutively

Skills

• Proficient in managing emergent obstetric cases
• Experience with Epic EMR system
• Ability to work independently and handle high-pressure situations
