Job Responsibilities
– Provide comprehensive care in neurological surgery, focusing on trauma cases
– Manage and perform on-call duties, maintaining readiness for emergent cranial trauma
– Collaborate with Neurosurgery APPs and resident support to deliver exceptional patient outcomes
– Conduct spinal surgeries, both with and without instrumentation

Qualifications
– Board Certified or Eligible in Neurosurgery
– Active OH License or willingness to obtain
– BLS and ACLS certifications
– Availability for specified coverage dates in December

Working Hours
– 24-hour call responsibility, with proactive involvement during morning rounds

Skills
– Expertise in spinal instrumentation and trauma surgical procedures
– Competency in emergent cranial interventions such as craniotomy/craniectomy
– Proficiency in ICP monitor placement and management
– Strong teamwork and communication skills within a multidisciplinary environment
