Job Responsibilities

• Perform thoracic surgeries, including coronary artery bypass, valvular repair, and aneurysm repair.
• Conduct inpatient rounding and evaluations.
• Manage acute volume/blood pressure issues.
• Insert various lines and catheters as needed.
• Participate in shared call after hours and weekends.

Qualifications

• Board Certified in Thoracic Surgery
• Required Certifications: ABLS, ACLS, ATLS
• Experience with general CV/thoracic surgery and specialized procedures, including TAVR and CABG, is required.

Working Hours

• Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• On-call for after hours and weekends.

Skills

• Strong proficiency in open and endoscopic cardiac/thoracic surgeries.
• Experience with a variety of procedures, including pacemaker placement and left ventricular assist devices.
• Ability to manage ventilated patients and perform bronchoscopies.
• Skilled in insertion of central lines, arterial lines, PA catheters, and IABPs.
