Job Responsibilities
– Evaluate drug orders and patient-specific parameters for optimal benefits and minimal risks.
– Dispense medications while concurrently monitoring patient profiles and managing prescribing protocols.
– Participate in Code Blue activities and provide drug information.
– Collect study data and perform clinical interventions as appropriate.
– Teach healthcare providers regarding drug therapy and ensure compliance with DNV standards and state/federal laws.

Qualifications
– Current licensure by the Washington State Board of Pharmacy as a Registered Pharmacist.
– Comprehensive clinical knowledge of hospital pharmacy practice.
– Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS).
– Demonstrated clinical competence and excellence in interpersonal communication skills.
– Experience with drug therapy, including specific dosing and pharmacokinetics, drug interactions, and aseptic techniques.

– Varied shifts with potential for on-call time and holiday coverage.
