Job Responsibilities

  • Ensure the safe, accurate, and efficient distribution of pharmaceutical agents.
  • Collaborate with physicians regarding drug usage and dosing.
  • Educate nursing staff, patients, and physicians about medications.
  • Implement medication safety initiatives.
  • Manage patient profiles and report adverse drug reactions.
  • Prepare IV admixtures and nutritional supplements.
  • Maintain accountability for narcotics.

Qualifications

  • FL Pharmacist license required.
  • Pharmacy degree (BS or Pharm.D) from an accredited college.
  • 1–2 years of experience as a staff pharmacist.
  • Knowledge of ADM and pharmacy software, Clinical Pharmacology, and Micromedex.

Working Hours

  • Overnights, 10:00 PM – 6:30 AM, with a 30-minute lunch break.

Skills

  • Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical practices and regulations.
