Anesthesiologist Locum Position

Overview:

A healthcare facility is seeking six full-time locum anesthesiologists to join their team. Ideal candidates can cover full-time; however, availability of two weeks per month will also be considered.

Schedule:

• Start: Late June, early July
• Call: Required every 3-4 days (1st call, 2nd call)

Details:

• We require the equivalent of six full-time locum physicians.
• General Anesthesiology: Excludes head and heart procedures.
• Obstetrics: Yes.
• Pediatrics: Yes, with a focus on tonsils and adenoids.
• Supervision: Some supervision required.
• Group Composition: 12 physicians and 2 CRNAs.
• EMR System: Cerner.

Requirements:

• Certification: Board Certified – Required.
• Licensing: Must hold an active IA license or qualify for the IMLC, with a copy of the LOQ required at the time of name clearance.
• Certifications: NRP, ACLS – Required (can be obtained during credentialing).
• Availability: Required at the time of name clearance.
• COVID-19 Vaccine: Required.
