Job Responsibilities

• Provide cardiac and general anesthesia care
• Participate in the hospital's cardiac surgery program
• Work with CRNA students in the operating room
• Perform and interpret TEE procedures

Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiac Anesthesiology
• Active Iowa license or IMLC
• TEE Certified
• BLS, ACLS, PALS certification
• COVID Vaccinated

Working Hours

• Specific coverage dates from July to January, typically week-long blocks
• No on-call or weekend responsibilities

Skills

• Expertise in managing both cardiac and general anesthesia cases
• Ability to work collaboratively with a team and oversee students
