Summary: A medical facility is seeking a locum Urologist to assist with coverage needs. Candidates must be available for specific coverage periods and will be responsible for clinic work and scheduled procedures, including robotic procedures.
Schedule & Setting:
– Monday – Friday, 8 AM – 5 PM with a 1-hour unpaid lunch.
– Setting includes Inpatient, Outpatient, Emergency Room, Clinic, and Call with Trauma Level III.
– FTE: 0.5
Required Procedures/Job Duties:
– Seeing clinic patients and performing robotic and general urology surgeries.
– OR time for various procedures is included.
Support & EMR:
– Support staff includes MA, NP/PA, and RN.
– Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system used is EPIC.
– EMR training requirements include completion of modules and onsite training.
Credentialing Information:
– Timeframe for credentialing is 60-90 days.
– Emergency temporary privileges can align with available positions.
– Required licenses and certifications include a Board Certification in Urology or Board Eligibility (0-5 years post-residency), an active CO license, BLS, DEA, and a clean malpractice and background record.

– Must uphold EMR training requirements and maintain a clean malpractice history.
– Must provide documentation of NPDB report if available.
On-Call Requirements:
– Night call from 4 PM to 7 AM and 24-hour shifts from 7 AM to 7 AM.
– Includes weekend descriptions with 24-hour call responsibilities.
