Job Responsibilities

• Provide specialized care in rehabilitation medicine
• Conduct rounds on current patients (5-8 patients)
• Collaborate with 2 nurses and 1 CNA
• Manage patient interactions effectively using Meditech EMR system
• Perform preferred rehabilitation procedures such as diagnostic/therapeutic taps, joint injections, and EMG

Qualifications

• Board Certified in Physiatry or Internal Medicine with rehab experience
• Must hold an active medical license
• BLS certification required
• Experience in a rehabilitation unit preferred

Working Hours

• Intermittent coverage across specified dates
• Rounding typically involves 5-10 minutes per patient

Skills

• Competence in physical medicine and rehabilitation tasks
• Ability to use traction/immobilization devices and perform pain management
• Proficiency in joint, trigger point, and epidural injections
