Job Responsibilities
– Provide day and night call coverage
– Conduct both inpatient rounds and outpatient consultations
– Perform bronchoscopies and manage ventilations (non-invasive and invasive)
– Handle ICU consults and manage acute and chronic respiratory conditions
Qualifications
– BE/BC in Pediatric Pulmonology
– Valid medical license to practice in Pennsylvania
– DEA Licensure
– Required certifications: ACLS, PALS
Working Hours
– Flexible, one week per month
– Night call includes inpatient coverage
Skills
– Comprehensive skills in ventilation management, intubation, sedation, and line insertion
– Proficiency in procedures like lumbar puncture, thoracentesis, central lines, and chest tube insertion
– Competence in interpreting X-ray and EKG findings
– Ability to perform minor surgical procedures such as suturing and circumcision
