Holzer Meigs, Gallipolis, and Jackson EDs are seeking an experienced Emergency Medicine provider. Providers must commit to a minimum of 5 shifts a month, with a preference for 8-10 shifts. You are encouraged to submit your provider to all three sites.

Shifts and Volume:
– Shifts: 8 a.m. – 8 p.m. or 8 p.m. – 8 a.m.
– Annual Volume: 18,527 (15-20 patients per shift per provider)
– Total Number of Beds: 11
– Fast Track in ED: Yes
– Percent of Total Hospital Admissions Received from ED: 17%
– Percent of ED Patients Admitted to the Hospital per Day: 17%
– Percent of ED Patients Transferred per Day: Less than 7%

Requirements:
– Must be available for nights and weekends
– Ohio State License required; will accept IMLC with proof within 3 business days of job acceptance
– COVID-19 Vaccination – Required
– Must be boarded ABMS/AOA IM/FM; other certifications not accepted
– Certifications Required: ACLS, ATLS, BLS, PALS, NRP
– Must have 2+ years of recent experience

Additional Information:
– No trauma level designation
– EMR: All Scripts/Paragon
– Will oversee APPs
– ED Physician writes orders for admissions
– Deliveries sent directly to Labor and Delivery
– Consultants available: Radiologist, Cardiologist, Pulmonologist, Gastroenterologist, Urologist, Hematologist/Oncologist
