Job Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive neonatal care for a patient population in a 15-bed NICU
• Attend deliveries when requested and assist in rounding on the mother-baby unit
• Collaborate with a dedicated support staff including pediatricians, specially trained nursery nurses, lactation consultants, respiratory therapists, and social workers
• Document patient care using Cerner EMR system

Qualifications

• Board Certified in Neonatology
• Active New York State Medical License
• BLS, NALS, PALS certifications

Working Hours

• 24-hour shifts, from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with overnight out-of-hospital call until 8:00 AM
• Scheduled coverage spread over 1.5 weeks as per assignment dates
