Summary

Coverage is needed for Urology call at a Level II Trauma center with shifts in both the Emergency Department and Surgery settings.

Location and Setting

• Setting: Emergency Department/Surgery

Duties

• Provide Urology call coverage
• Receive handoffs from Urologists if necessary

Required Procedures

• General Urology

EMR System

• EPIC

Support Staff

• Surgery nurses and techs on call

Credentialing Information

• Timeframe: Minimum of 3-4 weeks
• Requirements: M.D. or D.O.; DEA; NE license; and case logs from the last 2 years
• Credentialing with other facilities: Not required

Additional Details

• Average call volume varies from days with no consults to days with up to 4 or 5 consults from the ED
• Hospitalists are responsible for admissions

Submission Requirements

• Board Certified/Board Eligible in Urology
• Active Nebraska license is highly preferred
• Clean malpractice history is highly preferred
• Provider must be COVID vaccinated
• Provider availability as specified is required
• Case logs must be included at presentation
• Disclose any prior work at CHI/Dignity facilities

Travel Preferences

• Air Travel: Local preferred but not required
