The physician is required to complete the DOP. The role includes day shifts from Monday to Friday with a focus on reading over 125+ cases per day. The technology platforms in use include McKesson, Fluency, Meditech, and Athena.
Patient encounters per shift are not specified. Nearest airports include Charlotte, NC; Florence, SC; and Columbia, SC.
Requirements:
- Board certification is required
- Estimated credentialing timeframe is 30 days
- Relevant certifications needed: ABLS, ACLS, ATLS, BLS, PALS
Specialty Skills Required:
Radiology:
- Bone Mineral Density Studies: Preferred QCT
- CT: General and Neuro preferred; Advanced Studies/Procedures required including CT Angio, Biopsies, Aspiration/drainage
- General Radiology: Preferred for general (plain films), chest B reader, bone density scan (Dexa Scan), and various fluoroscopic studies
Mammography:
- MQSA Certified preferred
- Film screen and digital preferred
- Interventional procedures like needle localization and various biopsies preferred
MRI:
- General studies including musculoskeletal, breast MRI, neuro, joints MSK, and MRA preferred
Non-Vascular Intervention:
- Preferred procedures include aspiration/drainage, percutaneous needle biopsies, extractions
Nuclear Medicine:
- Preferred for general studies, cardiac function, thyroid treatment, and SPECT. PET Scans are also preferred
Special Procedures:
- Required procedures include abscess drainage, thoracentesis, paracentesis, and arthrogram
- Preferred procedures include hysterosalpingogram, myelography, pain management, various injections, and vertebroplasty
Ultrasound:
- Preferred for general, OB, abdominal/pelvic, thyroid scans, and pediatric newborn studies
- Advanced ultrasound studies preferred, including endovaginally, cardiac, Doppler, biopsies
Vascular and Interventional Radiology:
- Preferred neuro (head) interventions and diagnostic/therapeutic vascular interventions including angiography, angioplasty, stenting, thrombolytic therapy, embolization, and vascular access devices
