Job Responsibilities
– Provide coverage for the emergency department and stroke program
– Perform inpatient consultations
– Conduct and interpret radiologic exams unofficially
– Engage in a variety of procedures including lumbar punctures, thrombolytic therapy, EEGs, EMGs, and more
Qualifications
– Board Certified in Neurology
– Able to perform a wide range of neurologic procedures
– Fellowship in relevant specialty preferred
Working Hours
– 12-hour shifts, covering both day and night hours
Skills
– Proficient in diagnostic and therapeutic taps
– Experience with peripheral nerve blocks and pain management procedures
– Skilled in EEG, EMG, NCV tests, and evoked potentials
– Ability to administer botulinum toxin and perform disability evaluations
