Job Responsibilities

  • Ensure safe, efficacious, and cost-effective drug therapy for all patients
  • Review and assess medication orders to prevent and resolve drug-related safety issues
  • Oversee activities of Pharmacy Technicians
  • Provide antimicrobial stewardship, pharmacokinetic dosing, and renal dosing
  • Maintain security of the pharmacy and controlled substances
  • Provide drug information and education to medical staff and patients
  • Compound and dispense medications according to authorized orders

Qualifications

  • Full Colorado licensure to engage in the practice of pharmacy
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience evaluated individually
