Job Responsibilities
- Ensure safe, efficacious, and cost-effective drug therapy for all patients
- Review and assess medication orders to prevent and resolve drug-related safety issues
- Oversee activities of Pharmacy Technicians
- Provide antimicrobial stewardship, pharmacokinetic dosing, and renal dosing
- Maintain security of the pharmacy and controlled substances
- Provide drug information and education to medical staff and patients
- Compound and dispense medications according to authorized orders
Qualifications
- Full Colorado licensure to engage in the practice of pharmacy
- Equivalent combination of education and experience evaluated individually
